School supplies and a laptop for Rubén in Mesa
Rubén won a place at Mesa International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 10 at Mesa International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $800, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $800 goes:
• Laptop: $470
• Textbooks and workbooks: $270
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $60
Thank you so much.

You're not alone, Rubén. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't give up.
Thinking of you and your family, Rubén. Shared this with my family. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
