School supplies and a laptop for Roberto in Guadalupe
Roberto earned a place in Grade 9 at Guadalupe International School; we're $300 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Guadalupe International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $300, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $300 goes:
• Laptop: $150
• School uniform and shoes: $50
• Textbooks and workbooks: $70
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
With deep gratitude,
Roberto

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Roberto.
Laptop is $150 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page.
Take care, Roberto. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Sent it to 35 people at work!
sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care
