Kasarani
Ochieng earned a place in Form 4 at Kasarani Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $200, which is more than they have. Ochieng loves design and technology and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $200 goes: • Laptop: $115 • School uniform and shoes: $25 • Textbooks and workbooks: $35 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Caroline

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ochieng.

Laptop is $115 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Good question.

Keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Haarlem.

Hope things get better soon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
