Volunteers wanted: Alexandre's yard after the storm
Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Alexandre's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 85 and I have lived in this house in Bordeaux for 45 years. After the storm in September, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you and your family. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Bordeaux.
wishing you peace, Alexandre. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from San Diego.
