School supplies and a laptop for Nova in Baton Rouge
Nova won a place at the Baton Rouge Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Nova earned a place in Year 10 at the Baton Rouge Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $900, which is more than they have.
Nova loves biology and wants to become a teacher. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $900 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $55
• Textbooks and workbooks: $260
• Laptop: $585
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

it takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from Paris
Thinking of you and your family, James. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Don't give up
