School supplies and a laptop for Noreen in Karachi

Noreen earned a place in Grade 9 at Karachi International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $100, which is more than they have. Noreen loves robotics and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $100 goes: • Laptop: $60 • School uniform and shoes: $15 • Textbooks and workbooks: $20 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
