Muthoni earned a place in Form 4 at Kampala Science Academy; we're $100 short on required supplies.

Muthoni earned a place in Form 4 at Kampala Science Academy, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $100, which is more than they have.
Muthoni loves mathematics and wants to become a teacher. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $100 goes:
• Laptop: $50
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending good thoughts, Wafula. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 29 years in construction I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Thinking of Kampala.
wishing you the best. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Soweto.
