School supplies and a laptop for Miguel in Medellín
Miguel won a place at Medellín Boys' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia614 views
Miguel earned a place in Year 11 at Medellín Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $300, which is more than they have.
Miguel loves robotics and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $300 goes:
• Laptop: $190
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Textbooks and workbooks: $60
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Sending strength, Esperanza. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Medellín.
Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in A Coruña this morning.
