Contagem
Manoel earned a place in Year 11 at the Contagem Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $350, which is more than they have. Manoel loves design and technology and wants to become a software developer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $350 goes: • Laptop: $165 • School uniform and shoes: $80 • Textbooks and workbooks: $80 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Rosângela

Updates from Rosângela

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($32 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. Small update. $58 so far, we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.

  3. 45% there. I made the first payment toward calculator, stationery and a school bag. Thank you.
