School supplies and a laptop for Mandla in Durban
Mandla earned a place in Year 10 at Durban Boys' High School; we're $250 short on required supplies.
🇿🇦 Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa1,322 views
Mandla earned a place in Year 10 at Durban Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $250, which is more than they have.
Mandla loves design and technology and wants to become a pilot. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $250 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $45
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25
• Laptop: $180
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Mandla?
Thank you. If you're in Durban I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Good question.
Wishing you the best, Mthunzi. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Dundee.
