School supplies and a laptop for Joyce in Zanzibar City
Joyce won a place at Zanzibar City Girls' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇹🇿 Tanzania646 views
Joyce earned a place in the first year of senior school at Zanzibar City Girls' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $110, which is more than they have.
Joyce loves robotics and wants to become a nurse. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $110 goes:
• Laptop: $75
• School uniform and shoes: $10
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
