School supplies and a laptop for Jide in Abuja
Jide won a place at Abuja Technical College but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇳🇬 Abuja FCT, Nigeria1,544 views
I earned a place in Year 10 at Abuja Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $50, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $50 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
If you're reading this, thank you.

Hang in there. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Sending strength. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. We're a small family in Sacramento but we're thinking of you. God bless.
Thinking of you, Jide. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care.
Praying for you, Jide. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Take care
