School supplies and a laptop for Indika in Colombo

I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Colombo Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $200, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $200 goes:
• Laptop: $100
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $30
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $40

How is Indika doing now?
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Colombo.
