School supplies and a laptop for Gbenga in Ikeja
Help Gbenga begin Year 11 with a laptop, uniform and books.
Anywhere in the world1,146 views
Gbenga earned a place in Year 11 at Ikeja Boys' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $60, which is more than they have.
Gbenga loves coding and wants to become a teacher. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $60 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15
• School uniform and shoes: $5
Thank you for reading my story.

What's already covered and what's the $60 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. textbooks and workbooks comes first ($40) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks, that means a lot.
Keep going. Shared this with my family. Don't give up. Love from Lagos.
Thanks for sharing this, Nonso. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Wish I lived closer to Pittsburgh so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Salerno.
