Frank earned a place in Grade 9 at Hamilton Boys' High School; we're $700 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Hamilton Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $700, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a software developer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $700 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $190
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $70
• Laptop: $440
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Hope things get better soon, Frank. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. God bless.
