Palmira

I earned a place in Form 4 at Palmira Girls' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $350, which is more than we have. I love robotics and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $350 goes: • Laptop: $195 • School uniform and shoes: $65 • Textbooks and workbooks: $75 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Esperanza

Updates from Esperanza

Thank you all. We're at 50% now ($175). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward textbooks and workbooks.
