School supplies and a laptop for Devi in Noida
Devi won a place at Noida Girls' High School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇮🇳 Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India1,049 views
Devi earned a place in the first year of senior school at Noida Girls' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have.
Devi loves mathematics and wants to become a pilot. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $35
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
• Laptop: $105
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
Updates from Nandini
Good news. Because of your gifts ($20 in total) I made the first payment toward school uniform and shoes. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
47% there. the plan for calculator, stationery and a school bag is now scheduled. Thank you.
Update from Noida: we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. We're at 7% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us. - Nandini
