School supplies and a laptop for Deepa in Pune
Deepa won a place at Pune International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India1,184 views
Deepa earned a place in Year 10 at Pune International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $105, which is more than they have.
Deepa loves biology and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $105 goes:
• Laptop: $55
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Textbooks and workbooks: $25
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
If you're reading this, thank you.
Updates from Sneha
Thank you all. We're at 57% now ($60). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward textbooks and workbooks.
Update from Pune: I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. We're at 38% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us. - Sneha
