School supplies and a laptop for Craig in Ekurhuleni
Craig won a place at Ekurhuleni Science Academy but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Year 11 at Ekurhuleni Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $200, which is more than we have.
I love design and technology and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $200 goes:
• Laptop: $100
• School uniform and shoes: $50
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
Updates from Craig
Quick update: $10 raised so far (5%). I made the first payment toward calculator, stationery and a school bag. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($10 in total) the plan for textbooks and workbooks is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
