School supplies and a laptop for Cooper in Québec

I earned a place in Year 11 at Québec Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $1,150, which is more than we have. I love chemistry and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $1,150 goes: • Laptop: $560 • School uniform and shoes: $220 • Textbooks and workbooks: $250 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $120 If you're reading this, thank you.
