Beth won a place at Glasgow Science Academy but the family cannot afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
Updates from Jonathan
Wanted to say thank you properly. 41% funded and I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts.

hang in there. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Iztapalapa.
You're not alone, Jonathan. Study hard! Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Beth
It's all in the list in the story. laptop is the big one at $340, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Fair thing to want to know.
Keep going. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Take care
Stay strong, Jonathan. Study hard!
So sorry you're going through this. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.
