School supplies and a laptop for Bakari in Nairobi
Help Bakari begin Year 10 with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya983 views
Bakari earned a place in Year 10 at the Nairobi Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have.
Bakari loves coding and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $75
• School uniform and shoes: $25
• Textbooks and workbooks: $40
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hope it all works out. Study hard! God bless
Good luck. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Mumbai.
hope it all works out, Macharia. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. God bless.
Sending strength. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Sylhet.
Keep going, Macharia. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best.
hope things get better soon, Macharia. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Swansea but we're thinking of you.
