Saying goodbye to Volkan - help with funeral expenses
Duygu lost her grandfather suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $1,150.

Volkan, my grandfather, passed away on 21 October after a sudden heart attack. He was 51 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,150 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 31 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Volkan to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Gaziantep hospice.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $710
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $200
• Transport of the deceased: $165
• Memorial gathering for the family: $75
