Vivian, my mother, passed away on 8 July after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 45 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 18 July. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Vivian to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Edinburgh hospice. Where the $2,650 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $390 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $770 • Funeral home services and casket: $1,490 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
