Saying goodbye to Usman - help with funeral expenses
Usman passed away on 27 June; we're raising $650 for a respectful funeral in Port Harcourt.

Usman, my father, passed away on 27 June after a sudden heart attack. He was 91 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Usman to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $650 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $400
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $190
• Transport of the deceased: $25
• Memorial gathering for the family: $35
Thanks for being kind about this.

Take care, Khadija. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Hope it all works out, Khadija. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Port Harcourt.
Rooting for you, Khadija. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Cebu City.
Wishing you peace, Khadija. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money!
Stay strong. Hope you get there. After 11 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
