Cox's Bazar
Tithi, my wife, passed away on 23 September after a road accident. She was 40 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Tithi to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Cox's Bazar hospice. Where the $600 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $360 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $160 • Transport of the deceased: $25 • Memorial gathering for the family: $55 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Karim
