Saying goodbye to Ties - help with funeral expenses
Teun lost his husband suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $3,750.

Ties, my husband, passed away on 18 September after complications from pneumonia. He was 80 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 8 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ties to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the The Hague hospice.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,650
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,700
• Transport of the deceased: $290
• Memorial gathering for the family: $110

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Teun
Sure. The biggest one is funeral home services and casket, $1,650. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks, that means a lot.
