Saying goodbye to Stanisław - help with funeral expenses
Ewa lost her husband suddenly and the family cannot cover funeral and burial costs of $2,100.

Stanisław, my husband, passed away on 27 September after a road accident. He was 49 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,100 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 5 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Stanisław to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $2,100 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,400
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $480
• Transport of the deceased: $130
• Memorial gathering for the family: $90
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ewa
Sure. The biggest one is funeral home services and casket, $1,400. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks, that means a lot.
stay strong, Ewa. Shared it with a few friends. I'll check back for the next update. Take care.
Take care. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless
Thinking of you and your family. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Saint-Étienne!
