Sheila, my grandmother, passed away on 3 September after a sudden heart attack. She was 47 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 15 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Sheila to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Memorial gathering for the family: $70
• Funeral home services and casket: $450
• Transport of the deceased: $30

Sure. The biggest one is memorial gathering for the family, $70. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
