Saying goodbye to Shakil - help with funeral expenses
Shakil passed away on 17 October; we're raising $650 for a respectful funeral in Mumbai.

Shakil, my grandfather, passed away on 17 October after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 85 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 1 November.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Shakil to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $650 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $570
• Memorial gathering for the family: $30
• Transport of the deceased: $50
