Saying goodbye to Scarlett - help with funeral expenses
After the sudden passing of Scarlett, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Scarlett, my grandmother, passed away on 20 April after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 47 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 29 April.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Scarlett to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Birmingham hospice.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $960
• Transport of the deceased: $340
• Memorial gathering for the family: $150
Every share and every dollar helps.

Hope things get better soon, Charles. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Ciudad de México
Thinking of you and your family. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 25 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Los Angeles donated after I showed her your page. Blessings
thinking of you and your family, Charles. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
