Samina, my sister, passed away on 13 September after a short illness. She was 50 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $350 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Samina to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Lahore hospice. Where the $350 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $180 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $75 • Transport of the deceased: $70 • Memorial gathering for the family: $25 Thanks for reading all this.
