Romane, my wife, passed away on 17 March after a stroke. She was 54 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,000 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 3 April. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Romane to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $5,000 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $2,950 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,200 • Transport of the deceased: $470 • Memorial gathering for the family: $380 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
