Roman, my father, passed away on 24 December after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 80 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 4 January. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Roman to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.             Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. transport of the deceased comes first ($490) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. It helps to be asked.
