Rahim, my husband, passed away on 25 September after a short illness. He was 89 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 5 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Rahim to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Chattogram hospice.

• Memorial gathering for the family: $30
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $210
• Transport of the deceased: $10
