Puja passed away on 3 August; we're raising $450 for a respectful funeral in Lalitpur.

Puja, my grandmother, passed away on 3 August after a short illness. She was 89 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $450 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 12 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Puja to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $175
• Transport of the deceased: $20
