Mi-young passed away on 19 September; we're raising $3,950 for a respectful funeral in Los Angeles.

Mi-young, my sister, passed away on 19 September after a stroke. She was 80 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,950 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Mi-young to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $3,950 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,750
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,500
• Transport of the deceased: $300
• Memorial gathering for the family: $400
