Saying goodbye to Matthew - help with funeral expenses
Caleb lost his father suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $3,300.

Matthew, my father, passed away on 3 September after a stroke. He was 45 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 19 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Matthew to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $3,300 goes:
• Transport of the deceased: $480
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $540
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,280
With deep gratitude,
Caleb

Praying for you, Caleb. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of San Diego.
Take care, Caleb. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Hang in there, Caleb. I hope things turn around soon. I hope October is when things finally get easier!
