Saying goodbye to Marta - help with funeral expenses
Tizita lost her sister suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $650.

Marta, my sister, passed away on 4 June after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 90 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 22 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Marta to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Mekelle hospice.

• Funeral home services and casket: $290
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $260
• Transport of the deceased: $35
• Memorial gathering for the family: $65
