Saying goodbye to Marcel - help with funeral expenses
Sophie lost her brother suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $3,800.

Marcel, my brother, passed away on 16 June after a sudden heart attack. He was 87 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,800 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 24 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Marcel to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
