Saying goodbye to Lydia - help with funeral expenses
Lydia passed away on 31 October; we're raising $4,750 for a respectful funeral in Birmingham.

Lydia, my grandmother, passed away on 31 October after a stroke. She was 73 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 November.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Lydia to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $4,750 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,900
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,250
• Transport of the deceased: $250
• Memorial gathering for the family: $350
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

hang in there, Eliana. Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in São Paulo this morning. All the best
Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Malmö
Thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from 6th of October City.
Hang in there, Eliana. Looking forward to the next update. It's not much but it's yours.
So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope December is when things finally get easier.
