Juan, my father, passed away on 8 October after complications from pneumonia. He was 77 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,200 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 20 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Juan to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $3,200 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $1,800 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $870 • Transport of the deceased: $340 • Memorial gathering for the family: $190 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
