Idris passed away on 7 May; we're raising $3,100 for a respectful funeral in Aberdeen.

Idris, my grandfather, passed away on 7 May after a sudden heart attack. He was 49 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,100 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 24 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Idris to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Funeral home services and casket: $2,050
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $500
• Transport of the deceased: $280
