Saying goodbye to Henry - help with funeral expenses
Ngozi lost her father suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $500.

Henry, my father, passed away on 21 September after complications from pneumonia. He was 92 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $500 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 7 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Henry to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $500 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $290
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $120
• Transport of the deceased: $80
• Memorial gathering for the family: $10
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. It's not much but it's yours. Take care.
Stay strong, Ngozi. Looking forward to the next update.
Thinking of you and your family, Ngozi. This could happen to any of us. God bless.
sending love, Ngozi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Juazeiro do Norte this morning.
Thanks for sharing this. Hope you get there. Thinking of Lagos
Good luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
