Harold, my father, passed away on 9 August after a road accident. He was 36 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,550 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 20 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Harold to have a dignified farewell.

The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $950
• Transport of the deceased: $510
• Memorial gathering for the family: $440
