Hari lost his grandfather suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $1,000.

Hari, my grandfather, passed away on 23 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 50 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,000 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Hari to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $290
• Transport of the deceased: $60
• Memorial gathering for the family: $30
