Gemma, my grandmother, passed away on 24 June after a sudden heart attack. She was 50 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 10 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Gemma to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Quezon City hospice.

• Funeral home services and casket: $400
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $230
• Transport of the deceased: $40
