Saying goodbye to Erik - help with funeral expenses
After the sudden passing of Erik, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.
🇸🇪 Sweden741 views
Erik, my father, passed away on 18 September after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 73 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,950 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 4 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Erik to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $3,950 goes:
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,500
• Memorial gathering for the family: $175
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,275
I hope life is good to you.
- Henrik

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Södertälje
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about cemetery plot and burial fees, advice is welcome too. Let me know if you want more detail.
Hope things get better soon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Södertälje.
Hope it all works out, Henrik. This could happen to any of us.
so sorry you're going through this, Henrik. This could happen to any of us. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Södertälje.
Wishing you peace, Henrik. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Jinja this morning. God bless
keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Epe
