Saying goodbye to Dmytro - help with funeral expenses
Valentyna lost her uncle suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $950.

Dmytro, my uncle, passed away on 30 October after a stroke. He was 82 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $950 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 17 November.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Dmytro to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $950 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $580
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $230
• Transport of the deceased: $110
• Memorial gathering for the family: $30
I hope life is good to you.

Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Odesa.
Thank you. If you're in Odesa I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Good question.
Praying for you, Valentyna. Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Tehuacán this morning. Blessings.
any update on how things are going in Odesa?
This could happen to any of us. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Howrah.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Odesa
Sending love, Valentyna. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings!
