Cristina, my grandmother, passed away on 21 July after complications from pneumonia. She was 47 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $900 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 29 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Cristina to have a dignified farewell.
